Commenced teaching as a voluntary teacher in 1978 at Royal College and obtained my first appointment as a government teacher to Royal College in 1979. 40 years experience as a teacher of Science subjects, Mathematics and Information Technology. And Technical subjects(Grade 6 – 13).
One year overseas experience in teaching Science subjects for London and Cambridge OL.6 months experience as a Computer Programmer in the Sri Jayawardenapura Zonal Department of Education. 1998.
Experience in translation of examination question papers to English language, and organization of year end examinations, in the Western Provincial Department of Education. 2005-2009
